Sydni Kay Blackwell, 20, of Williamsport, IN, passed away at 12:45 PM. Friday January 11, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born October 15, 1992, in Hoopeston, IL. She is survived by her father Craig Blackwell (Kristi Edwards) and her mother Suzi (Hultquist) Etchison and step-father Burt Etchison.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Rozanna (Ray) Estep of Anderson, IN and Steve (Barb) Blackwell of Hoopeston, IL; three sisters, Nikki (Justin) Barr of Bloomington, IL, Jessi Ritter (Marc Engelbach) of Norman, OK and Meadow Blackwell of Hoopeston, IL; one brother, Jimmy (Olivia) Carl of Hoopeston, IL; three nephews, Mason Barr, Castor Engelbach and Evan Carl and one niece Anna Barr.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Calvin Hultquist.
Sydni was a graduate of Seeger Memorial High School in West Lebanon, IN. She worked in the office at Stewart Grain in Bismarck, IL. She enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, fishing, drawing, shopping and spending time with her niece and nephews.
