Jacquelyn L. "Jackie" Stump, 70, of Rossville, IL, passed away at 3:15 A.M. Thursday September 20, 2012 at her home. She was born September 14, 1942 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Joe McGrew and Virginia (Stewart) McGrew. She was later adopted by Bruce C. Kider. She married Richard Stump on October 1, 1961 at St. James United Methodist Church in Danville, IL. He survives in Rossville, IL. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage in October 2011.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, George and Virginia Walter; one daughter, Karen (Joe) Haggerty of Glen Ellyn, IL; one son, Kevin (DeEtte) Stump of Sherman, IL; grandchildren, Heather (Paul) Youngmark, Jonathon (Kasey) Haggerty, Kelsey Stump, Regan Stump and Derek Stump; and great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn Haggerty and Kilronan Youngmark.
She was preceded in death by her biological father and her adopted father.
Jackie was a graduate of J. Sterling Morton High School in Cicero, IL and attended Danville Area Community College and Illinois State University. She retired from Vermilion Health Services in 1998.
She was a long time member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, serving in several areas: the choir, United Methodist Women and church secretary. Her greatest joys were her family and spending the winters in Texas.
