Jacqueline Lee Reckner, 65, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Hoopeston, IL, passed away Saturday December 22, 2012, at her home. She was born March 8, 1947, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Roger and Pauline (Walters) Reckner.
She is survived by her mother Pauline Reckner of Hoopeston, IL, one sister Joan Reckner Johnson of Hoopeston, IL; one niece, Megan Longfellow Braden; two nephews, Jeff (Lisa) Longfellow, and Ryan Bane; 6 great nieces and nephews and many children that she cared for over the years as a nurse.
She was preceded in death by: her father Roger Reckner and her grandparents.
Jackie was a nurse for Maxim Pediatric Care of Columbus, OH, where she cared for many children. She served in the United States Army as a nurse at Walter Reed Hospital. Jackie belonged to a health club and loved to work out. Her greatest joy was caring for children.
